Finland has long been known for its excellent education system--the foundation of a knowledge-based economy--and the OECD survey once again confirms the vital role schooling plays in creating well-being. Finland also scores highly in environment and safety, but like its Nordic neighbors, average household wealth is relatively low among the rated countries.
