Haute Sour Patch Kids

Like some other high-end venues, the New Zealand-themed Musket Room in New York's Nolita district serves pate de fruits at the end of a long meal. Except chef Matthew Lambert adds a sly finishing touch: citric acid. The result is akin to eating a Sour Patch Kid. Your mouth will pucker.
