Korea is ranked within the top three in three different Doing Business categories, electricity access, international trade and contract enforcement. Tightened information security bolstered Korea's credit system score in this year's report. 

Difficulty transferring property ownership and gaining access to corporate documents are Korea's two weakest points. Last year's report credited the nation with making it easier to sue directors over conflicts of interests, although it still earns slightly underperforming marks in that category.
