Buckwheat Bomb

Saison by Joshua Skenes is one of San Francisco's most expensive restaurants, offering a tasting menu of $248 per person, before wine, tax or tip. Good thing the food rocks. Kudos to pastry chef Shawn Gawle for this uber-earthy dessert of buckwheat souffle and buckwheat ice cream. And of course that's followed by a cup of buckwheat tea.
