A restored seventeenth-century monastery three miles from Amalfi, with 20 rooms, terraced gardens, clifftop Mediterranean views, and a pool that seems to float over the sea.

The look: A lofty stuccoed retreat with vaulted ceilings and other architectural features largely intact.
