Talk to the Chair

Clint Eastwood, who has given many great performances on film, played his most controversial role at the Republican National Convention: Holding a dialogue with a President Obama whom only Mr. Eastwood could hear and see in the empty chair next to him. The twitter account @InvisibleObama ("stage left of Clint Eastwood") was created on Aug. 30 and has close to 69,000 followers; #eastwooding became a popular hashtag. The most retweeted piece of content during the Republican National Convention came courtesy of President Obama's team (at left).
