Reagan Calls the Game

President Ronald Reagan threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Friday, Sept. 30, 1988 -- from the mound. The president later went to the broadcast booth to help announce the first part of the game. Reagan also became the first president to watch a major league game from the dugout.
