Set on the banks of the Sabi River, this "very luxurious family-run resort" on 10,000 acres comprises two lodges and a family camp. Ivory Lodge rooms, done in ebony and ivory, have African artifacts and views of the river through oversized windows or from private viewing terraces. Rooms in the River Lodge, in cream and beige, have freestanding tubs and indoor and outdoor showers. "Excellent game viewing" includes elephant and lion sightings from open jeeps. "Staff are fabulous and very welcoming."
