Sophia Loren

In 1980, an Italian court convicted the movie star of underreporting income of 5 million lire (approximately $7,000 at the time, according to the Associated Press) on a 1970 tax return and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. Loren was living abroad but decided to return to Italy to serve her sentence. She spent 17 days in jail.
