From New Deal to Bad Deal?

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed a measure in 1938 that created the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation, which limited coverage to major items such as corn and wheat. 

The program was designed to help struggling farmers and sustain the nation's food supply.
