Walkman Can't Keep Up

When Sony announced it was stopping production of the Walkman in 2010, the company said it had sold 220 million of the portable cassette players since the device was introduced more than 30 years earlier. Apple sold nearly that many of its music-playing iPhones in about one-sixth the time.
