The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) agreed to acquire 85.42% stake in Hermes Transporte Blindados S.A. from Inversiones Centenario S.A.A. (BVL:INVCENC1), The Bank of Nova Scotia (TSX:BNS) and a partial stake from the Wiese and De Osma family groups on August 17, 2015. Equity capital for the transaction is being provided by Carlyle Peru Fund and Carlyle South America Buyout Fund. The transaction is expected to close in later part of August 2015.
