NEC Corporation (TSE:6701) agreed to acquire the remaining 40% stake in NEC Toshiba Space Systems from Toshiba Corporation (TSE:6502) on February 27, 2015. Pursuant to the transaction, NEC Toshiba Space Systems will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of NEC and change its name to NEC Space Technologies, Ltd. on April 1, 2015.
