Solutions The company’s solutions are designed to offer customers a way to send money to and pay bills for family and friends at any time, from any Internet-enabled location. Origination: The company’s services are available through the Internet or through a mobile device on its Website at or through its mobile application. Funding: The company’s customers have the option to fund a transaction with a U.S.-based bank account, credit card or debit card, which the company does not require to be from any particular bank or banks. Disbursement: The company’s money transfer service is offered from the United States to 32 countries, including various major recipient countries, such as India, Mexico, and the Philippines. The company’s customers could pay bills in five countries, including Mexico. The company’s bill payment service facilitates electronic payments to utility providers, allowing its customers to pay bills owed by their family and friends. Money transfer recipients accept money in the manner they prefer and to which they are individually or culturally accustomed. The company’s money transfer disbursement options include direct deposit into a recipient’s bank account in various countries that it serves, cash pick-up at its disbursement partner locations in various countries that it serves or home delivery of cash in the Dominican Republic and the Philippines. Transaction Processing: The company provides a level of risk management, compliance and regulatory oversight and customer service. From the inception of a transaction, the company’s platform enables it to assess the transaction’s risk profile without introducing undue friction into the customer experience. The company tests each transaction for compliance, anti-money laundering, acceptable use, anti-fraud and funding risk within seconds. The company also has 24/7 expert human oversight to monitor transaction traffic and identify and mitigate risks as they develop. Additionally, the company’s multi-lingual customer service operations provide 24/7 support for both its customers and disbursement partners. Online and telephone support addresses customer inquiries, real-time transaction status updates, technical issue resolution, social media support, information verification, collections, internal processing monitoring, and complaint resolution. During 2014, the company introduced its money transfer service to Vietnam. In January 2015, the company introduced its money transfer service to China. During 2014, the company acquired BlueKite, LTD, a British Virgin Island business company, which is a Guatemala-based developer of solutions and applications for cross-border bill payment and mobile phone reload services. During 2014, the company also introduced Xoom Bill Pay, its cross-border bill payment service through which the company’s customers could pay their family and friends’ bills online. The company launched Xoom Bill Pay to major utility providers in five countries. During 2014, the company introduced a major upgrade to the Xoom App, which allows the company’s customers, including new users, to sign up and send money to both new and existing money transfer recipients from their mobile devices. During 2014, the company launched a partnership with HDFC Bank Limited to provide instant deposit services to rupee-denominated HDFC Bank accounts in India. The company also introduced instant bank deposit services to Punjab National Bank accounts in India, and improved its partnership with Punjab National Bank to provide instant bank deposit services to various prominent banks in India using the Immediate Payment Service platform, such as Punjab National Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank, and Yes Bank.
