The company also helps its clients assess the costs and risks of retirement plans on cash flow, earnings and the balance sheet, the effects of changing workforce demographics on their retirement plans and retiree benefit adequacy and security. The company is the named actuary for various retirement plan sponsors. It provides actuarial services to approximately 300 pension funds worldwide. In the U.S., the company provides actuarial services to five corporate-sponsored defined benefit plans (based on total pension plan assets). In the U.K., the company advises 37 corporate pension funds. The company also has positions in Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands.
