Commercial Loans and Leases: The company’s commercial loan portfolio includes lines of credit for working capital and term loans and leases to finance equipment and other business assets. Mortgage Finance Loans: The company’s mortgage finance loans consist of ownership interests purchased in single-family residential mortgages funded through its mortgage finance group. Construction Loans: The company’s construction loan portfolio consists primarily of single- and multi-family residential properties and commercial projects used in manufacturing, warehousing, service or retail businesses. The company’s construction loans generally have terms of one to three years. The company typically makes construction loans to developers, builders and contractors that have a record of project completion and loan repayment, and have an equity investment in the borrowers.
