Marketing and Customers: In 2015, the company sold its specialty plant nutrients in approximately 100 countries. The company sells its specialty plant nutrition products outside Chile mainly through its own worldwide network of representative offices and through its distribution affiliates. The company maintains inventory of its specialty plant nutrients in the main markets of the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa in order to facilitate prompt deliveries to customers. In addition, it sells specialty plant nutrients directly to some of its large customers. Sales are made pursuant to spot purchase orders and short-term contracts. The company’s specialty plant nutrients are used on various crops, particularly value-added crops. Its customers are located in both the northern and southern hemispheres.
