On August 16, 2009, Tokai Rubber Industries Ltd. (TRI), Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd. (SEI), and Ktk Group Co. Ltd. (KTK) have agreed to form a joint venture to manufacture and sell anti-vibration rubber and air springs for rolling stock in China. In September 2009, the company and Tokai Rubber Industries Ltd. have agreed to establish a joint venture with Ktk Group Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu, China to manufacture and sell anti-vibration rubber and air springs for rolling stock.
