Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral resource properties. The company primarily focuses on the Hackett River Project and the Back River Project, both located in Nunavut in the Canadian Arctic. Hackett River Project The Hackett River Project consists of 7 mineral leases, totalling 10,637 hectares. Back River Projects The Back River Project consists of 7 properties; Goose Lake, George Lake, Boot Lake, Boulder Pond, Needle Lake, Del Lake and the Bath 1 Claim, which are centred in the southwestern part of Nunavut, Canada. The Back River Project land package is comprised of 44 federal mineral leases and 37 federal mining claims covering approximately 183,239 acres. Golden Sidewalk The company owns 100% of 18 leasehold patent claims, known as the Golden Sidewalk property, located in Skinner Township in the Red Lake Mining District of northwestern Ontario. Skinner The company owns a 100% interest in 14 claims, covering 2,900 hectares, known as the Skinner property, located in the Red Lake Gold camp adjacent to and immediately south of the Golden Sidewalk property. Redaurum The company owns 80% interest in Redaurum property. The Redaurum property is located within one of the major Red Lake deformation zones and in close proximity to the past producing Madsen Gold Mine. Newman-Madsen The company has an option and joint venture agreement with Premier on the Newman-Madsen property located in the Red Lake Mining Division of Ontario. In February 2009, the company and Premier entered into a Letter of Intent (Premier LOI) with Skybridge Development Corporation (Skybridge), which granted to Skybridge an option to acquire 100% of the East My-Ritt property portion of the Newman-Madsen property. Del Norte Project The company has an option agreement to acquire approximately a 65% interest in the Del Norte silver-gold property located in the Stewart-Eskay Creek mining district of northwestern British Columbia. Rockstone Project The company has an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Rockstone mining claims located in the Thunder Bay Mining District, Ontario. History The company was incorporated in 1966. It was formerly known as Sabina Silver Corporation and changed its name to Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. on October 27, 2009.
