The company provides services to approximately 13 million individual, business and institutional clients across Canada, the Caribbean and the U.S. In Canada, the company provides a suite of financial products and services through its branch, automated teller machine (ATM), online, mobile and telephone banking networks, as well as through proprietary sales professionals. In the Caribbean, the company offers a range of financial products and services to individuals and business clients, and public institutions in various markets. In the U.S., the company serves the cross-border banking needs of Canadian clients within the U.S. through online channels, as well as the banking product needs of its U.S. wealth management clients. Personal Financial Services Personal Financial Services focuses on meeting the needs of its individual Canadian clients at every stage of their lives through a range of financing and investment products and services, including home equity financing, personal lending, deposit accounts, Canadian private banking, indirect lending (including auto financing), mutual funds and self-directed brokerage accounts, and Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs). Its retail banking network in Canada includes 1,272 branches and 4,620 ATMs. Business Financial Services Business Financial Services offers a range of lending, leasing, deposit, investment, foreign exchange, cash management, auto dealer financing (floorplan), and trade products and services to small, medium-sized and commercial businesses and agriculture and agribusiness clients across Canada. Card and Payment Solutions Cards and Payment Solutions provides a range of credit cards with loyalty and reward benefits, and payment products and solutions within Canada. The company has approximately 6.7 million credit card accounts. In addition, this business line includes its 50% interest in Moneris Solutions, Inc., its merchant card processing joint venture with the Bank of Montreal. Caribbean and U.S. Banking The company’s Caribbean banking business offers a suite of banking products and services, as well as international financing and trade promotion services through branch, ATM, online and mobile banking networks. The company’s U.S. cross-border banking business serves the needs of its Canadian clients within the U.S. through online and mobile channels, and offers a range of financial products and services to individual and business clients across all 50 states. As well, the company serves the banking product needs of its U.S. wealth management clients. Wealth Management segment Wealth Management segment includes Canadian Wealth Management, U.S. and International Wealth Management and Global Asset Management (GAM). Wealth Management serves individual and institutional clients in target markets worldwide. From its offices in key financial centres mainly in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Channel Islands, continental Europe, and Asia, the company offers a suite of investment, trust, banking, credit and other wealth management solutions to affluent, high net worth (HNW), and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients.
