This segment also includes the purchases and resale of biomass-based diesel, renewable identification numbers, and raw material feedstocks acquired from third parties; the company’s sales of biomass-based diesel produced under toll manufacturing arrangements with third party facilities using its feedstocks; and incentives received from federal and state programs for renewable fuels. This segment also sells glycerin, free fatty acids, naphtha, and other co-products of the biomass-based diesel production process.
