REC Wafer The REC Wafer Segment produces monocrystalline and multicrystalline ingots and wafers for the solar cell industry at two sites in Glomfjord and at Herøya in Norway. It sells to customers located in Germany and Japan. REC Solar The REC Solar Segment produces solar cells in Narvik, Norway, and solar modules in Glava, Sweden. The total installed production capacity is 225 megawatts for solar cells and 150 megawatts for solar modules. Other The company also owns 33.3% interest in Sovello AG, which produces solar modules in Thalheim, Germany, based on the Evergreen string-ribbon technology.
