Products and Merchandising The company offers technology products, solutions, and other consumer products. It screens and selects new products and manufacturers based on the market opportunity and technology adoption trends within its targeted customer markets. The company offers its customers other value-added services, such as custom configured systems, software licensing asset management, image management, product asset tagging, and asset disposal services. Services The company’s services are available to its commercial and public sector customers. These services include assessment and planning services; data center hosting services; software hosting services; remote systems monitoring and management; IMAC and deployment services; end-user desktop services; managed print services; recycling and disposal services; change management consulting services; training; project management; and design and consulting. Sales and Marketing The company sells primarily to customers in the United States and maintains offices throughout the United States, as well as in Montreal, Canada and Manila, the Philippines. Suppliers The company has relationships with major OEM and publisher vendor partners, such as Adobe, Apple, Cisco, Dell Computer, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, Oracle, Symantec, and VMWare, as well as other major partners on a company-wide basis. Dispositions During 2014, the company discontinued the operation of all of its retail stores - located in Huntington Beach, Santa Monica and Torrance, California, and Chicago, Illinois; and the company’s OnSale and eCost businesses. Strategy The major elements of the company’s strategy are to increase sales and marketing productivity; develop and provide value added services and solutions offerings; leverage its strong partnerships with key vendors; identify and drive further operational efficiencies; and selectively pursue strategic acquisitions.
