Products and Technology Routing Products ACX Series: The company’s ACX Series Universal Access Routers address operator challenges to rapidly deploy new high-bandwidth services. The platforms deliver the necessary scale and performance needed to support multi-generation services. MX Series: The company’s MX Series is a family of high-performance, enterprise class and service provider Ethernet routers that functions as a Universal Edge platform capable of supporting business, mobile, and residential services in even the networks and markets. PTX Series: The company’s PTX Series Packet Transport Routers are designed for the converged supercore. The system is the first supercore packet system in the industry, and delivers capabilities based on Express silicon and a forwarding architecture that is focused on optimizing MPLS and Ethernet. The PTX, available in three form factors —PTX1000, PTX3000 and PTX5000, delivers several critical core functionalities and capabilities. T Series: The company’s T Series routers provide the features and multi-terabit scale that service providers need to handle massive growth in core bandwidth requirements. Its T Series routers include MPLS Differentiated Services, point-to-multipoint label-switched paths (P2MP LSPs), nonstop routing, unified in-service software upgrades (unified ISSUs), and hierarchical MPLS.
