Sales of tetra ethyl lead for use in automotive gasoline are made principally to state-owned refineries located in Northern Africa. The company’s environmental remediation business manages the cleanup of redundant tetra ethyl lead plants as refineries complete the move away from leaded gasoline. Customers In 2014, the company had a major customer in the Fuel Specialties segment, Royal Dutch Shell plc and its affiliates, which accounted for 8.5% of its net group sales.
