Overseas Sales: In 2015, approximately 97% of Honda’s overseas sales were made through its principal foreign sales subsidiaries, which distribute the company’s products to local wholesalers and retail dealers. In the United States, the company markets its products through a sales network of approximately 1,040 independent local dealers for motorcycles, approximately 1,310 for automobiles and approximately 8,200 for power products.
