The company and other mobile telecommunication service providers are also subject to the Radio Act. History The company was founded in 1991. It was incorporated and registered in 1991. The company was formerly known as NTT Mobile Communications Planning Co., Ltd., and changed its name to NTT Mobile Communications Network, Inc. in 1992. Further, the company changed its name to NTT DoCoMo, Inc. in 2000 and then to NTT DOCOMO, INC. in 2010.
