Exploration and Project Development The company’s primary exploration activities are focused on the growth and development of Blanket Mine and its satellite properties. Blanket Mine has exploration title holdings in the form of registered mining claims in the Gwanda Greenstone Belt totaling 78 claims, including a small number under option, covering properties with a total area of approximately 2,500 hectares. GG Project The GG Project is located approximately 7 kilometers southeast of Blanket Mine. Mascot Project Area The Mascot Project Area includes three sections, viz. the Mascot prospect, the Penzance prospect and the Eagle Vulture prospect. South Africa The Eersteling gold mine is indirectly owned by the company through its ownership of 100% of the shares of Eersteling Gold Mining Company Limited. Zimbabwe The Blanket Mine, in Zimbabwe, which the company indirectly owns 49% of through its ownership of 49% of the shares of Blanket Mine (1983) (Private) Limited. History Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc was founded in 1992. It was incorporated in 1992 under the Canada Business Corporations Act. The company re-domiciled to Jersey Channel Islands in March 2016. It was formerly known as Caledonia Mining Corporation and changed its name to Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc in March 2016.
