During the year ended June 30, 2015, the company continued its diversification program by developing new silicon and packaging platforms to expand its serviceable available market and offer higher performance products. The company’s metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFET) portfolio expanded across a range of voltage applications. The company also developed new technologies and products designed to penetrate into markets beyond its MOSFET computing base, including the consumer, communications, and industrial markets, as well as power IC for the next generation computing applications. To serve the analog market for power semiconductors, the company has created a product portfolio consisting of two major categories, such as power discretes and power ICs. The company’s power discretes products consist primarily of low, medium and high voltage power MOSFETs. The company also offers the XSFET packaging technology platform to provide a high thermal performance solution for advanced computing and high efficiency telecommunications and industrial applications. The company’s mid-voltage MOSFET portfolio offers high efficiency solutions for advanced telecommunications and industrial power supply applications. The company’s high-voltage portfolio includes its proprietary insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) technology, which the company developed solutions designed for industrial motor control and white goods applications. The company’s power ICs deliver power, as well as control and regulate the power management variables, such as the flow of current and level of voltage. The company continued to expand its EZBuck power IC family with products that feature lower on-resistance, small footprint and thermally enhanced packages. Power Discrete Products The company’s power discrete product line includes industry standard trench MOSFETs, SRFETs, XSFET, electrostatic discharge, protected MOSFETs, high and mid-voltage MOSFETs and IGBTs. Power IC Products In addition to the traditional monolithic or single chip design, the company employs a multi-chip approach for the majority of its power ICs. New Products The company offers various new products based on its proprietary technology platform and continues to expand the product family by introducing new solutions to computing and LED back lighting for LCD-TV. During the three months ended June 30, 2015, the company introduced the new 1200V/1350V E-series IGBTs optimized for soft-switching applications, which delivers high performance by lower switching loss. The company also expanded its IGBT product portfolio with the release of the 650V M-Series. During the three months ended March 31, 2015, the company released two new MOSFETs optimized for battery protection applications, which are the latest additions to its AlphaDFN package portfolio. These devices are primarily targeting one and two cells portable battery pack applications. During the three months ended December 31, 2014, the company launched new generation EZBuck regulator in a thermally enhanced package. The device offers a low on-resistance power stage in a thermally enhanced 3mm x 3mm DFN package, allowing cooler power conversion for various consumer electronics applications, such as LCD TVs and set-top-boxes, as well as DVD players and recorders. The company also introduced new 40V 0.99mOhm MOSFET in a DFN5x6 package during the three months ended December 31, 2014.
