Yara International ASA provides industrial, environmental, and agricultural products in Norway and internationally. The company operates through three segments: Downstream, Industrial, and Upstream. It produces ammonia, urea, nitrates, and other nitrogen-based products; and calcium ammonium nitrate, ammonium nitrate, calcium nitrate, and micronutrient chelates, as well as feed phosphates, feed acidifiers, and purified phosphoric acid. The company also offers nitrogen chemicals, including ammonia-derived products; carbon dioxide and dry ice; specialty chemicals based on blends of nitrates for the latex and rubber industry, concrete industry, and solar thermal power sector; and electronics chemicals. In addition, it offers solutions for NOx and SOx emission abatement, odor control, water treatment, and corrosion prevention; technical ammonium nitrate and calcium nitrate for use in the civil explosives and mining industries; and feed minerals, as well as fertilizer and crop nutrition programs. The company was founded in 1905 and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

Yara International ASA reported audited consolidated and parent company earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2014 and consolidated operating results for the year ended December 31, 2014. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenue of NOK 95,047 million compared to NOK 84,668 million a year ago. Revenue and other income was NOK 95,343 million compared to NOK 85,092 million a year ago. Operating profit was NOK 10,305 million compared to NOK 8,074 million a year ago. Earnings before interest expense and tax (EBIT) was NOK 11,642 million compared to NOK 9,563 million a year ago. Income before tax was NOK 10,035 million compared to NOK 7,711 million a year ago. Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent was NOK 7,625 million or NOK 27.59 per share compared to NOK 5,759 million or NOK 20.67 per share a year ago. Net cash from operating activities was NOK 8,607 million compared to NOK 12,300 million a year ago. Purchases of property, plant and equipment was NOK 7,020 million compared to NOK 5,420 million a year ago. EBITDA was NOK 16,407 million compared to NOK 13,399 million a year ago. Yara International ASA Announces Executive Changes, Effective 1 May 2015

Yara International ASA has appointed Terje Knutsen as Head of Downstream. He succeeds Egil Hogna, who has submitted his resignation. Knutsen will assume his new position on 1 May 2015. Yara's Downstream business unit manages the company's global sales, marketing and distribution of fertilizers. Terje Knutsen currently heads Yara's business unit for Downstream activities in North & East Europe. Prior to this, he was Head of Business Unit Asia. Knutsen will be part of Yara's executive management team and report to the President and CEO.

Yara International ASA Appoints Svein Tore Holsether as President and Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of Yara International ASA has appointed Mr. Svein Tore Holsether as the company's new President and Chief Executive Officer. He will succeed acting CEO Torgeir Kvidal within October 2015. Holsether currently serves as President and CEO of Sapa Group. Torgeir Kvidal, who has served as acting CEO since October 2014 will resume his previous position as Chief Financial Officer. At the same time, Thor Giæver, currently acting CFO, will return to his position as Head of Investor Relations.
