WSFS Financial Corporation operates as the thrift holding company for the Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB that provides various banking and financial services in the United States. It operates through three segments: WSFS Bank, Cash Connect, and Trust and Wealth Management. The company offers various deposit products, including savings accounts, demand deposits, interest-bearing demand deposits, money market deposit accounts, and certificates of deposit, as well as jumbo certificates of deposit. It also provides a range of loans, which comprise residential real estate loans; commercial real estate mortgage loans; commercial construction loans; commercial loans for working capital, financing equipment and real estate acquisitions, business expansion, and other business purposes; and consumer credit products, such as home improvement, automobile, and other secured and unsecured personal installment loans, as well as home equity lines and unsecured lines of credit. In addition, the company offers cash management, trust, and wealth management services. Further, it markets various third-party investment and insurance products, such as single-premium annuities, whole life policies, and securities; and provides investment advisory services to high net-worth individuals and institutions. Additionally, the company offers ATM vault cash and related services; and online reporting and ATM cash management, predictive cash ordering, armored carrier management, and ATM processing and equipment sales services. As of March 17, 2015, it operated 55 offices, including 45 in Delaware, 8 in Pennsylvania, 1 in Virginia, and 1 in Nevada. WSFS Financial Corporation was founded in 1832 and is headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware.

WSFS Financial Introduces New WSFS Mobile Cash Service

WSFS Financial Corporation has introduced WSFS Mobile Cash, a new service that allows customers to withdraw cash from an ATM by using their WSFS Mobile Banking app. This product represents the latest in security, convenience and speed in regards to digital technology in banking. Customers can use their mobile phone to click on a special feature of the WSFS app; touch the "WSFS Mobile Cash" button on any WSFS Bank branch ATM screen; select the withdrawal amount; scan a picture of the unique cash code on the screen using their phone; and then retrieve their cash and receipt from the ATM. WSFS Mobile Cash is a new feature on the WSFS Mobile Banking app and is now available to all WSFS Bank Customers. This new service is available at all WSFS Bank branch locations.

The Board of Directors of WSFS Financial Corporation approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share of common stock. This dividend will be paid on May 29, 2015, to shareholders of record as of May 15, 2015. The company reported unaudited earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. Total interest income was $42.9 million against $37.8 million last year. Net interest income was $38.8 million against $34.0 million last year. Income before taxes was $20.2 million against $15.9 million last year. Net income was $12.9 million or $1.34 per diluted share against $16.9 million or $1.85 per diluted share last year. Return on average assets was 1.06% against 1.52% last year. Return on average equity was 10.30% against 16.79% last year. Return on tangible common equity was 12.00% against 18.88% last year. Excluding the net impact of the items, earnings per share would have been $0.04 greater, or $1.38 per share, and ROA would have been three basis points higher, or 1.09% for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
