The company has interests in the Genesis manganese project consisting of one tenement covering an area of approximately 3,000 hectares and is located in Toli Toli, Central Sulawesi province. It also has interests in the Persada Tenement that covers an area of 5,000 hectares and is located northeast of Palu in Central Sulawesi province. The company was formerly known as Western Manganese Limited and changed its name to Western Mining Network Limited in December 2012. Western Mining Network Limited was founded in 2010 and is based in Perth, Australia.

Western Mining Network Limited Announces Executive Changes

The Board of Western Mining Network Limited announced that, Mr. Mark Langan was appointed Company Secretary to replace Mr. David Palumbo who has resigned as Company Secretary.

Western Mining Network Ltd Strikes Deal with Udin Engineering Co Ltd, E-Petro Chemical Co Ltd and Nexinova Corporation Ltd

Western Mining Network Ltd. has signed a heads of agreement with a consortium of three Korean companies to fast-track development of the company's Tamboli Project. The consortium comprises Udin Engineering Co Ltd, E-Petro Chemical Co Ltd. and Nexinova Corporation Ltd. Under the heads of agreement, Western Mining Network Ltd. will be responsible for mining and stockpiling graphite ore, Udin will be responsible for engineering, procurement and construction of a beneficiation plant at the Tamboli Project and E-Petro will be responsible for ensuring that the output from the beneficiation plant will be a suitable graphite carbon powder that can be marketed by Nexinova to its proprietary steel industry customers throughout Asia. Udin and E-Petro, both based in Seoul, possess experience and capabilities to beneficiate and process raw graphite ore into a high purity level of graphite carbon powder. They are experienced in the design, construction and operation of beneficiation plants for graphite. The beneficiation plant will be located at WMN's property adjacent to the proposed mine site. Udin and E-Petro plan to position WMN to deliver a minimum of 1,000 tons per month of graphite carbon powder with consistent quality and particle size, which is key to ensure suitability for use in the recarburisation process used in steel manufacturing, refractories, carbon bricks for blast furnaces, and battery anode manufacturing processes. Nexinova, also based in Seoul, manufactures technology systems and components utilised in major steel manufacturing companies throughout Asia. Nexinova possesses proprietary relationships with major steel manufacturers in Korea and throughout Asia including Indonesia and has agreed to help market the graphite processed at the beneficiation plant to its existing customers. The parties have agreed to work together to negotiate, perform further due diligence and finalise before February 28, 2015, a definitive binding agreement.

The board of Western Mining Network Limited announced a further strengthening of its executive management team with the appointment of mining engineer Budi Santoso as an Executive Director and Chief Technical Officer. Mr. Santoso has over twenty six years' experience in the mining industry, ranging from green field exploration through to mine development and operation. In his most recent role, Mr. Santoso was a Principal Mining Engineer and President Director of PT.
