Wells Fargo & Company provides retail, commercial, and corporate banking services to individuals, businesses, and institutions. Its Community Banking segment offers checking, savings, market rate, individual retirement, and health savings accounts, as well as time deposits and remittances; and lines of credit, auto floor plan lines, equity lines and loans, equipment and transportation loans, education and residential mortgage loans, and debit and credit cards. This segment also provides equipment leases, real estate and other commercial financing, small business administration financing, venture capital financing, cash management, payroll services, retirement plans, and merchant payment processing and private label financing solutions, as well as purchases retail installment contracts. Its Wholesale Banking segment offers commercial loans and lines of credit, letters of credit, asset-based lending, equipment leasing, international trade facilities, trade financing, collection, foreign exchange, treasury management, investment management, institutional fixed-income sales, interest rate, commodity and equity risk management, insurance, corporate trust fiduciary and agency, and investment banking services, as well as online/electronic products. This segment also provides construction, and land acquisition and development loans; secured and unsecured lines of credit; interim financing arrangements; rehabilitation loans; affordable housing loans and letters of credit; loans for securitization; commercial real estate loan servicing; and real estate and mortgage brokerage services. The company’s Wealth, Brokerage and Retirement segment offers financial advisory, wealth management, brokerage, retirement, trust, and reinsurance services. As of February 25, 2015, it operated through approximately 8,700 locations and 12,500 ATMs; offices in 36 countries; and Website. The Company was founded in 1852 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

Wells Fargo & Company Appoints John C. Adams as Head of Commercial Banking

Wells Fargo & Company announced that John C. Adams has been named head of Commercial Banking, effective immediately. He is based in San Francisco. Adams reports to Perry Pelos, the former Commercial Banking head, who in July was promoted to a new position that oversees Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Government and Institutional Bankingand Treasury Management, which are part of the company's Wholesale Banking group. Adams is a member of the company's Management Committee and a 30-year Wells Fargo veteran of commercial and corporate banking. In his new role, Adams will oversee more than 140 Wells Fargo Regional Commercial Banking Offices in 38 states and three Canadian provinces, serving middle market companies with annual revenues of greater than $20 million in a broad spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, retail, distribution, construction, clean-tech and services. Adams began in banking career in 1985 with First Interstate Bank of California. He also serves on the board of the Bay Area Council Economic Institute and the Chief’s Cabinet of the San Mateo Police Activities League.

Wells Fargo & Company Appoints Suzanne Morrison to Lead its Carolinas Commercial Banking

Wells Fargo & Company announced the promotion of Suzanne Morrison to division manager of its Commercial Banking Carolinas Division. Anchored in Charlotte, the Carolinas Division serves the finance needs of middle market companies with annual revenues of $20 million and above. A 22-year financial services industry veteran, Morrison most recently served as the regional vice president for the Charlotte West Regional Commercial Banking Office (RCBO). In her new role, Morrison will oversee commercial bank operations throughout the Carolinas where the company has nine regional and satellite offices. Morrison succeeds longtime commercial banker, Stan Gibson, who is retiring September 30. This marks a return to Charlotte for the home base for the Carolinas Division of Commercial Banking, which was most recently located in Charleston, S.C., where Gibson was based.
