Valley Financial Corporation operates as the holding company for Valley Bank that provides commercial and retail banking services to small-to-medium sized businesses, professional concerns, and individuals primarily in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia, the United States. The company offers various deposit products, including checking, NOW, savings, and individual retirement accounts; and various time deposits, such as money market accounts and longer-term certificates of deposits. It also provides various loan products comprising commercial loans; residential real estate loans secured by 1-4 family residential properties; construction and development loans; and consumer loans for financing automobiles, home improvements, education, and personal investments. In addition, the company offers safe deposit boxes, as well as various cash management services, which include overnight repurchase agreements, merchant purchase and management programs, traveler’s checks, direct deposit of payroll and social security checks, and automatic drafts for various accounts. Further, it provides VISA and MasterCard credit card services, lockbox services, and a debit-check card, as well as non-deposit investment and insurance products; wealth management services; and various brokerage services, including retirement planning, college funding, and other financial planning services. Additionally, the company offers leasing services for small business, private banking, and business banking customers, as well as prospects to access equipment, technology, or other capital assets; and specialized asset-based lending services, such as accounts receivable financing and automobile floor plan financing. As of August 1, 2014, it operated nine full-service offices. The company also operates nine automated teller machines, as well as provides telephone, Internet, and mobile banking services. Valley Financial Corporation was incorporated in 1994 and is headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia.
