Silicon Graphics International Corp. develops, markets, and sells various servers, enterprise-class storage hardware, differentiating software, and solutions. Its scale-out computing solutions include SGI Rackable server clusters; SGI ICE X, a distributed memory supercomputer; and scale-up computing solutions comprise SGI UV 2, a coherent in-memory system that runs various compute-intensive workloads simultaneously, as well as SGI UV, an appliance for the SAP HANA platform, which enable real-time transactional and analytical processing. The company also offers data analytics solutions, such as SGI solutions for Hadoop; SGI InfiniteData Cluster, a cluster computing platform combining server and storage density; SGI Graph, Fraud Analysis, Social Analytics, and Genomics solutions; and SGI InfiniteStorage Gateway, an active archive appliance. In addition, it provides SGI clustered and high performance storage solutions comprising a suite of hardware and software products that addresses data storage and management requirements. Further, the company offers SGI Management Center to manage SGI HPC cluster solutions; SGI Foundation Software, a software suite of support tools and utilities; SGI Performance Suite that enhances performance and provides additional capabilities for developers of technical computing and big data applications; and SGI networking solutions. Additionally, it offers support, remote, installation, customer education, and professional services. Silicon Graphics International Corp. provides its products to scientific, business, and government communities through direct sales force and distributors, system integrators, value-added resellers, original equipment manufacturers, and channel partners. The company was formerly known as Rackable Systems, Inc. and changed its name to Silicon Graphics International Corp. in May 2009. Silicon Graphics International Corp. was incorporated in 2002 and is headquartered in Milpitas, California.

Silicon Graphics International Corp. Announces Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year of 2015; Provides Earnings Guidance for the First Quarter and Full Year of 2016

Silicon Graphics International Corp. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2015. Fourth quarter revenue of $153 million increased 29% from the prior quarter and 8% from a year ago. Net capital expenditures in the fourth quarter were $2 million, while depreciation and amortization expense was $3 million. Non-GAAP EBITDA was $2 million for the full year. The company provided earnings guidance for the first quarter and full year of 2016. The company expects first quarter revenue to be, at least, $120 million, ramping up quarterly as the year progresses. For fiscal 2016, the company currently anticipates full year revenues of $600 million to $625 million, which represents year-over-year growth of 15% to 20%. The company expects to be profitable on a non-GAAP basis for the full year in the range of $0.25 to $0.35 per share assuming a approximately 36 million weighted average shares outstanding.

SGI UV 300H is a specialized offering in the SGI(r) UV(TM) server line for in-memory computing that enables enterprises to further unlock value from information in real-time, boost innovation, and lower IT costs with SAP HANA. Featuring a highly differentiated single-node architecture, the system delivers significant performance advantages for businesses running SAP(r) Business Suite 4 SAP HANA (SAP S/4HANA) and complex analytics at extreme scale. The single-node simplicity also helps enterprises eliminate overhead associated with clustered environments, streamline high availability, and scale-up seamlessly as data volumes grow with near-linear performance. Integrated with the recently announced SAP HANA SPS10, SGI UV 300H capitalizes on deep collaboration between SAP, Intel and SGI to optimize SAP HANA-based workloads on multicore NUMA (non-uniform memory access) systems.
