VSE Corporation provides vehicle fleet and equipment sustainment services in the United States. The company’s Supply Chain Management Group segment offers sourcing, acquisition, scheduling, transportation, shipping, logistics, data management, and other services to assist its clients with supply chain management. This segment supplies vehicle parts through a managed inventory program to the United States Postal Service (USPS) truck fleet, other projects to support the USPS, managed inventory services and parts sales to support commercial client truck fleets, and part sales to Department of Defense. Its International Group segment offers engineering, industrial, logistics, maintenance, information technology, ship and aircraft support, aircraft sustainment and maintenance, facility operations, storage and disposal support for seized and forfeited general property programs, and foreign military sales services to the U.S. military branches, other government agencies, and other customers. The company’s Federal Group segment provides engineering, technical, management, and integrated logistics support services to the U.S. military branches, government agencies, and other customers. This segment’s services comprise life cycle engineering, logistics, maintenance, field support, and refurbishment services; systems and software engineering, systems technical support, configuration management, obsolescence management, prototyping, technology insertion programs, and technical documentation and data packages; and management and execution of government programs. Its IT, Energy and Management Consulting Group segment offers technical and consulting services primarily to various civilian government agencies. The company is also involved in maintenance, repair, and overhaul services and parts supply for corporate and regional jet aircraft engines and engine accessories. VSE Corporation was founded in 1959 and is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.

VSE Corporation Gets U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command, Strategic Services Solutions and Equipment Related Services Contract

VSE Corporation announced that it has been selected as one of 20 prime contractors for the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command's (TACOM) Strategic Services Solutions (TS3) Equipment Related Services (ERS) contract. The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a maximum potential value of $1.1 billion and an eight-year period of performance if all options are exercised. VSE also was named one of 19 prime awardees on the TACOM TS3 Research and Development (R&D) IDIQ contract, which has a maximum potential value of $634 million and an eight-year period of performance if all options are exercised. The combination of these contracts will allow VSE to compete for task orders in the areas of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), equipment modification, equipment installation, research and development, engineering, and technical representative services to keep vehicles, machines, systems and other equipment functioning and in working order. The task orders will be issued by the Army Contracting Command to meet the requirements of various Army command centers including the Program Executive Offices for Combat Support & Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS) and Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS), U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC), Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) and the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) to include its depots and arsenals.

VSE Corporation Announces Retirement of David M. Osnos from the Board of Directors

VSE Corporation announced that David M. Osnos has retired from the VSE Board of Directors, effective May 5, 2015. Mr. Osnos has served VSE Corporation as Director since 1968. At various times throughout his tenure, Mr. Osnos assumed key leadership roles while serving on each of the board's committees, and he also was appointed as the Lead Independent Director with the responsibility of assuring effective corporate governance. In addition to serving as a director of VSE, Mr. Osnos was a senior partner at Arent Fox LLP, and is currently of counsel. He currently serves as a director of EastGroup Properties Inc. and was a director of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust until May 2007.

VSE Corporation announced the promotion and appointment of Joseph 'JR' Brown to President of the Federal Services Group. Mr. Brown will report to VSE CEO/President/COO Maurice “Mo” Gauthier. He is a recognized and well regarded leader in its foreign military sales support of the U.S. Navy, managing many of its successful ship transfers and related support services. Prior to joining VSE in 1996, Mr. Brown served 20 years active duty in the U.S. Navy.
