Vencor International, Inc. Signs Agreement to Test Hemp as Feedstock to Produce Renewable Energy

Vencor International, Inc. announced it has entered into an Agreement to begin testing industrial hemp as a feedstock used to manufacture various torrefied products, including Bio-Coal, a renewable energy product. The Agreement with Vega Biofuels, Inc. calls for Vencor to immediately begin testing industrial hemp as a raw feedstock for producing Vega's Bio-Coal product. Vencor recently provided Vega with samples of its torrefied wood pellets made from timber waste for testing by Vega's client. Multiple tests were performed, including ash, sulfur and volatile content analysis as well as fixed carbon and BTU content. Each one of the tests performed exceeded the requirements necessary for approval by Vega. Vencor will provide similar samples to Vega using industrial hemp as a feedstock.

Vencor International, Inc. Signs Timber Contract to Lower Feedstock Costs

Vencor International, Inc. announced it has entered into an Agreement to purchase timber waste for use in manufacturing torrefied wood products. Vencor has entered into an Agreement with a local logging company to purchase their tree top timber waste. The three year deal will have a significant impact on the company's bottom line by lowering its feedstock costs. The Agreement can be extended for additional three year terms by the Parties. This Agreement will provide Vencor with enough sustainable raw feedstock to run both machines to meet the demand from Vega Biofuels and the company's other clients. The agreement lowers the company's feedstock costs by approximately thirty five percent.

Vencor International, Inc. Enters into an Agreement to Manufacture torrefied Bio-Coal for Vega Biofuels

Vencor International, Inc. announced it has entered into an exclusive agreement to manufacture torrefied Bio-Coal for an international client. Vencor has entered into an agreement with Vega Biofuels, Inc. to manufacture Vega's Bio-Coal product using torrefaction technology. The agreement is for ten years and can be extended by the parties for additional ten year terms. Vega Biofuels markets its Bio-Coal product to clients around the world as a renewable energy alternative to traditional coal. This agreement makes Vencor the exclusive manufacturer of all Bio-Coal marketed by Vega Biofuels. In order to prepare for the increase in production, Vencor recently purchased the exclusive rights to torrefaction equipment manufactured by Torretherm. The company currently has two Torretherm machines available for production with plans to add additional machines as the demand increases.
