Uranium Equities Limited announced consolidated earnings results for the six months ended December 31, 2014. For the period, the company reported loss from operating activities of AUD 241,031, loss before income tax of AUD 246,259, loss attributable to owners of the company of AUD 246,259 compared to loss from operating activities of AUD 426,612, loss before income tax of AUD 184,808, profit attributable to owners of the company of AUD 264,736 for the same period prior year. Loss per basic and diluted share was 0.06 cents against 0.010 cents for the same period a year ago. Net finance loss was AUD 5,228 compared to AUD 51,746 a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was AUD 305,597 against net cash provided by operating activities of AUD 157,392 for the same period prior year. Payments for mining exploration and evaluation and rehabilitation were AUD 727,447 against AUD 396,038 for the same period prior year.

Uranium Equities Limited announced the appointment of James Merrillees as the company's General Manager. James will oversee exploration of the key Alligator Rivers Uranium Field projects and the day to day operations of the company. James is an economic geologist with over 15 years' minerals exploration experience. He has led teams and worked on exploration projects globally including over 10 years with BHP Billiton and subsequently for a number of junior and mid-tier explorers and producers. In addition, Rolf Heinrich has stepped down as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary effective immediately. Kym Verheyen has been appointed Finance Manager and Company Secretary. Kym is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years' experience gained in both public practice and commerce. Kym commenced her career with Deloitte and has since held finance positions in a diverse range of industries.
