Ucore Rare Metals Inc. Provides Updates on the Separation of Individual Rare Earth Elements

Ucore Rare Metals Inc. reported additional results of its ongoing testing of the use of Molecular Recognition Technology for the separation of rare earth elements from Bokan-Dotson Ridge feedstock. The testing was conducted on beneficiated material sourced from the Company's Bokan Dotson-Ridge property in Southeast Alaska. The pregnant leach solution ('PLS') was prepared by Hazen Research Inc. of Denver Colorado, using the metallurgical process outlined in the Company's Preliminary Economic Assessment. Individual carbonate salts of Sm and Gd were produced utilizing a proprietary Molecular Recognition Technology ('MRT') circuit developed by IBC Advanced Technologies Inc. of American Fork, Utah ('IBC'). Full load, wash and elution cycles were performed using IBC's SuperLig resin in column mode. Elution was accomplished with a small volume of eluent (acid).

Ucore Rare Metals Inc. Announces Comprehensive Summary of Assay Results from the 2014 Drill Program at the Bokan-Dotson Ridge Rare Earth Element Project in Southeast Alaska

Ucore Rare Metals Inc. announced comprehensive summary of assay results from the 2014 drill program at the Bokan-Dotson Ridge rare earth element (REE) project in southeast Alaska (Bokan). An important feature of the 2014 assay results is the prevalence of intersections averaging over 1% TREO. The best of these intersections are in DDH 142, which includes TREO values of 2.42 m @1.03%, 2.76m @1.649%, 3.37m @1.899% and 2.88 m @1.117%. The 2014 infill drill program produced a total of 3,960 metres of core from 17 diamond drill holes. Together with previous drill programs conducted between 2007 and 2011, Ucore has now completed 151 drill holes in total, comprising 23,622 meters of core at the Bokan property. The 2014 drill holes were uniformly successful, consistently encountered mineralization, intersecting the zone as expected, and with assay results consistent with those returned on prior programs.

Ucore Rare Metals Inc. Successfully Separates Entire Suite of Individual Rare Earth Elements at High Purity

Ucore Rare Metals Inc. announced that it has successfully separated each of the rare earth elements at high purity. Rare earth carbonates were produced from a pregnant leach solution derived from Bokan Dotson-Ridge feedstock. Utilizing a proprietary Molecular Recognition Technology (‘MRT’) circuit developed by IBC Advanced Technologies Inc. of American Fork, Utah, Ucore has successfully separated each individual REE with purity levels for all REE's consistently meeting or exceeding 99% purity. The separation procedure, employing a customized SuperLig® hydrometallurgical process, was accomplished across the entire lanthanide suite, from lanthanum (La) to lutetium (Lu), inclusive, plus yttrium (Y) and scandium (Sc). The testing was conducted on beneficiated material sourced from the company's Bokan Dotson-Ridge property in Southeast Alaska. The pregnant leach solution was prepared by Hazen Research Inc. of Denver Colorado, using the metallurgical process outlined in the company's Preliminary Economic Assessment.
