For the quarter, the company reported total interest revenue of $62.534 million against $60.138 million a year ago. Net interest revenue was $57.242 million against $53.812 million a year ago. Net interest revenue after provision for credit losses was $55.442 million against $51.312 million a year ago. Total revenue was $71.124 million against $63.488 million a year ago. Net income before income taxes was $28.063 million against $24.438 million a year ago. Net income available to common shareholders was $17.670 million or $0.29 per basic and diluted share against $14.961 million or $0.25 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Return on common equity was 9.34% against 8.64% a year ago. Return on assets was 0.94% against 0.85% a year ago. Book value per share as on March 31, 2015 was $12.58 against $11.66 as on March 31, 2014. Tangible book value per share as on March 31, 2015 was $12.53 against $11.63 as on March 31, 2014. The increase in net income reflects strong loan and core deposit growth, a stable net interest margin and growth in fee revenue. For the first quarter, the company’s net charge-offs were $2.562 million compared with $2.509 million in the fourth quarter and $4.039 million a year ago.
