It offers depository services, which include checking accounts, savings accounts, and time certificate contracts; and lending services, such as traditional credit products, as well as credit card services, leasing, financing and import/export trade, asset-backed lending, agricultural finance, and other products. The company also provides ancillary services, including capital market, treasury management, and receivable lock-box collection services to corporate customers; and a range of asset management and fiduciary services for individuals, estates, foundations, business corporations, and charitable organizations. In addition, it offers investment and insurance products to the company’s customers principally within its markets, as well as fund administration services to a range of mutual and other funds. Further, the company provides corporate and purchasing card, and corporate trust services, as well as merchant processing services, as well as offers cash and investment management, ATM processing, mortgage banking, and brokerage services. It serves individuals, businesses, institutional organizations, governmental entities, estates, foundations, charitable organizations, and other financial institutions. The company offers its services through a network of 3,176 banking offices in the Midwest and West regions of the United States, as well as operates a network of 5,022 ATMs. U.S. Bancorp was founded in 1863 and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Richard B. Payne, Jr., Vice Chairman, Wholesale Banking, of U.S. Bancorp to Retire in First Half of 2016

On July 21, 2015, Richard B. Payne, Jr., Vice Chairman, Wholesale Banking, of U.S. Bancorp, notified the board of directors of his intention to retire from the company during the first half of 2016, after having served as Vice Chairman since July 2006. Until his retirement, Mr. Payne will continue to serve as U.S. Bancorps Vice Chairman, Wholesale Banking, and will perform all duties associated with that role. Mr. Payne will assist in the selection of his successor and will remain at U.S. Bancorp as long as necessary to ensure that an effective transition takes place.

U.S. Bank Replaces Chris Heman with Mike Katz as Market President and Head of Commercial Banking for Puget Sound Region, Effective August 1

U.S. Bank has named Mike Katz as market president and head of commercial banking for the Puget Sound region, effective August 1. Katz succeeds Chris Heman, who is relocating out of the market later this summer.

US Bank Announces Management Changes

US Bank has announced the appointment of Larry Otto as its new market president, succeeding Joseph Imbs III. Otto will lead the market in company-wide efforts and activities, and will direct commercial banking in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Otto has more than three decades of banking experience in the region. He joins US Bank from Bank of America, where he most recently served as president for St. Louis and Missouri and gained extensive commercial banking and wealth management experience in many leadership roles.
