Signature Bank provides various business and personal banking products and services. It accepts various deposit products, including commercial checking accounts, money market accounts, escrow deposit accounts, cash concentration accounts, interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing checking accounts, certificates of deposits, time deposits, and other cash management products. The company also offers loan products comprising commercial and industrial loans; real estate loans, such as loans secured by commercial and residential properties, and temporary financing for commercial and residential properties; letters of credit; and personal lines of credit and loans to acquire personal assets, as well as asset-based lending, mortgages, credit card accounts, and home equity loans. In addition, it provides investment, brokerage, and asset management products and services; retirement products, such as individual retirement accounts and administrative services for retirement vehicles, which include pension, profit sharing, and 401(k) plans to its clients, as well as business retirement accounts; and equipment finance and leasing, transportation financing, taxi medallion financing, commercial marine financing, and national franchise financing services. Further, the company offers wealth management services to its high net worth personal clients; and a range of individual and group insurance products that comprise health, life, disability, and long-term care insurance products as an agent. Additionally, it purchases, securitizes, and sells guaranteed portions of small business administration loans. As of March 19, 2015, the company operated 29 private client offices located in the New York metropolitan area. Signature Bank was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in New York, New York.

Signature Bank has announced that it has opened a new branch. The bank said that it has opened a private client banking office in Greenwich at 75 Holly Hill Ln. The firm has positioned a three-person, private-client banking team led by group director and senior vice president, Thomas P Mooney, at the Greenwich office.

Signature Bank Announces Executive Appointments; Opens Private Client Banking Office in Greenwich, CT

Signature Bank announced the appointment of a new three-person private client banking team based out of its private client banking office in White Plains, N.Y., in Westchester County. Additionally, the Bank announced the opening of its private client banking office in Greenwich, CT., which marks its 29th office. Concurrent with the opening, an existing three-person banking team led by Group Director and Senior Vice President Thomas P. Mooney, will relocate to the Greenwich office. Nicholas R. Melendez, named Group Director and Senior Vice President, heads the newly appointed White Plains team. Melendez spent the past 15 years at Wells Fargo Bank and its predecessor banks in White Plains, most recently as District Manager and Vice President, a position where he focused on acquiring and serving commercial clients and managing the district's business portfolio. He also oversaw the commercial business in districts across Long Island, Yonkers and New York City during his tenure. Williams joins from Citibank in Greenwich, where he most recently was Business Banker - Vice President. In that capacity, he served a vast commercial clientele spanning professional services firms throughout Connecticut and Westchester. Prior, he spent four years at Wells Fargo in a range of commercial banking positions, where he worked with Melendez. Earlier in his 14-year banking career, Williams worked at JPMorgan Chase locations throughout the metro-New York area. Muhammad worked with Melendez at Wells Fargo, where he held the role of Branch Manager - Assistant Vice President at the North White Plains branch, managing the branch and overseeing a staff of 11. While Melendez and his team settle into White Plains, Mooney and his team relocate from there to the new Greenwich office, located at 75 Holly Hill Lane.

Signature Bank Announces Executive Appointments

Signature Bank announced the appointment of two private client banking teams to its growing network. The first team consists of eight veteran banking professionals, all of whom join from Sterling National Bank’s commercial banking division. The team, which will be based from the Bank’s private client office at 261 Madison Avenue in Manhattan, is led by five Group Directors and Senior Vice Presidents: Michael Vasami, a 30-year banking veteran; Louis Cenname, Jr., who brings 32 years of banking expertise to Signature Bank; Steven Hebert, a 38-year seasoned banking professional, Salvatore F. Costa, with 50 years of banking experience; and, Anthony Grosso, with 47 years dedicated to the banking industry. Costa’s and Grosso’s entire banking careers were spent at Sterling. Combined, these professionals bring nearly 200 years of banking experience to Signature Bank. Most recently, Vasami was Senior Managing Director and Senior Vice President in New York City, where he specialized in serving commercial banking and high-net-worth individuals. Previously, Cenname was Managing Director and Senior Vice President, focusing on business development and relationship management. He had spent 22 years at Amalgamated Bank as First Vice President, managing the healthcare division where he garnered significant relationships. Hebert was Managing Director and Senior Vice President for 14 years, focused on relationship banking. Earlier, he worked at Bank of New York’s Great Neck Branch on Long Island, managing business development for 10 years. Costa was most recently a Managing Director and Senior Vice President, having spent five decades in commercial banking, where he served professional service firms as well as high-net-worth individuals. Grosso formerly served as Managing Director and Senior Vice President, specializing in real estate management, healthcare, professional services and not-for-profit clientele. Other members of this team include Aashish Patel, who will serve as Relationship Manager. Patel was Assistant Vice President and Senior Client Associate, catering to real estate management, healthcare, professional services and not-for-profit clientele. Anita Khan and Monica Paul serve as the team’s Senior Client Associates. Each spent 13 and nine years, respectively, at their former institution. Both have dedicated their entire careers to the banking industry. Khan worked at Apple Bank prior and Paul at JPMorgan Chase. The second team is led by Robert Bingold. He was named Group Director and Senior Vice President to head a three person-team that joined Signature Bank’s newly opened Forest Hills, N.Y. banking office in Queens. Bingold spent the past 25+ years at Citibank. Most recently, he was a Vice President and Branch Manager at Long Island’s Plainedge branch. Previously, Bingold spent 13 years at Citibank’s Nassau County Seat branch in Mineola in the same type of role, which involved business development and client services. Jason Schneidermesser joins Bingold’s team as Associate Group Director and Vice President. Schneidermesser recently served as Senior Relationship Manager and Vice President of Commercial Banking at the Brooklyn offices of HSBC, providing commercial banking solutions for small businesses. Previously, he was a relationship manager at JPMorgan Chase’s New Hyde Park office, covering Queens and Northeast Brooklyn and at Citibank in Mineola. Susan Fields was appointed to the post of Senior Client Associate. For the past several years, she supported several business bankers in her position as Senior Sales Support Specialist at Capital One Bank’s corporate headquarters in Melville, N.Y. Prior, she was a personal banker at Citibank in Mineola.
