New Toyo International Holdings Ltd, an investment holding company, produces and sells specialty packaging materials in the Asia Pacific region. The company’s Specialty Papers segment produces laminated aluminum foil paper, coated paper and metalized paper, and metalized polyethylene teraphthalate for applications primarily in cigarette packaging, food, beverages, wine and liquor, tissue boxes, cosmetic packaging, and gift-wrapping industries. This segment also produces paper cores and paper cones for use in textile and paper industries. Its Printed Cartons and Labels segment offers paper packaging materials comprising gravure and offset printed materials for tobacco packaging, including cigarette packs, as well as for fast moving consumer product packaging, such as cigarette cartons, cereal boxes, and beer labels. The company’s Others segment manufactures and sells corrugated recycled cartons and sheets for general packaging in fast moving consumer goods industries comprising tobacco, food, and beverage, as well as other consumer industries, such as electronics, electrical appliances, and furniture industries. This segment is also involved in the trade of chemicals, aluminum foils, paper and board products, cork-tipping paper, acetate-tow, and BOPP films, as well as the supply of printing ink. New Toyo International Holdings Ltd was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Singapore.

The Board of Directors of New Toyo International Holdings Ltd. announced the resignation of Ms Lucy Cher Soon Eng as the Chief Financial Officer of the company and she will relinquish her role as Chief Financial Officer of the company on 18 May 2015; and the appointment of Mr. San Meng Chee as the Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from 18 May 2015.

New Toyo International Holdings Ltd. Reports Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2015

New Toyo International Holdings Ltd. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the period, the company reported revenue of SGD 60,515,000 against SGD 69,569,000 a year ago. Operating profit was SGD 2,142,000 against SGD 3,789,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was SGD 3,068,000 against SGD 4,119,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to equity holders of the company was SGD 2,228,000 against SGD 2,405,000 a year ago. Cash flows used in operating activities was SGD 2,918,000 against SGD 388,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was SGD 786,000 against SGD 1,143,000 a year ago. On a fully diluted basis was 0.51 cents against 0.55 cents per share a year ago. The Group's turnover decreased due to lower revenue in Trading division partially offset by higher revenue in Printed Cartons and Labels division. The Group's profit before tax decreased mainly attributable to termination benefits of a subsidiary of SGD 2.58 million partially offset by increase in other income, net foreign exchange gain and share of profit of associates.

New Toyo International Holdings Ltd. proposed a final dividend of 0.60 cents per share for the financial year ended December 31, 2014. The proposed final dividend, if approved at the annual general meeting to be held on April 24, 2015, will be paid on May 12, 2015.
