Total Nigeria Plc markets and distributes refined petroleum products in Nigeria. The company operates through Network, General trade, and Aviation segments. It offers petrol or gasoline used in power internal combustion engines; diesel; and kerosene for use in lamps, cooking stoves, etc. The company also provides lubricants for cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, coaches, earth moving equipment, agriculture vehicles, and coastal and inland vessels, as well as food grade lubricants under the TOTAL and ELF brand names. In addition, it offers aviation gasoline and turbine kerosene for the aviation industry; liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for use in cooking, heating, refrigeration, and lighting applications; biocides; and lubricants oils, greases, and special products for food, aviation, car manufacturing, cement, chemical, energy, materials, metalworking, paper, steel, textile, and wood industries. Further, the company provides marine fuels; cylinders accessories; LPG tanks and LPG tank installation services; and car maintenance and care services, as well as markets bituminous products for the construction industry. Total Nigeria Plc operates 500 service stations, 5 LPG bottling plants, 3 lubricants blending plants; and 4 aviation storage facilities, as well as other facilities. The company was formerly known as TotalFinaElf Nigeria Plc and changed its name to Total Nigeria Plc in 2003. The company was incorporated in 1956 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Total Nigeria Plc is a subsidiary of Total Raffinage Marketing.

Total Nigeria plc Appoints Prince Jefferson Emeka Nnamani as Executive Director, Technical

Total Nigeria Plc announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Prince Jefferson Emeka Nnamani as Executive Director, Technical of the Company effective 30 April 2015. He started his career as a sales representative with the then Elf Marketing Nigeria Limited in 1989. He was the company's pioneer staff in Borno State and after successfully establishing the company's presence in the State, he was assigned to Lagos as the industrial Sales Executive in 1994. He became the first senior Network inspector for Lagos Region in 1995 and given his successful performance was again assigned to the Eastern region to cover both Network and industrial sales as the Sales Executive, Eastern Region in 1996, a position he occupied until he rose to the position of Regional Manager North Central, Elf Oil Nigeria Limited in 1999. By 2004, Prince Nnamani was moved to Lagos as head of the regional office; the pioneer Regional manager of Lagos and western Region from 2005 to 2007 as territorial Sales Manager West. In May 2008, he became the General Manager Sales, and in 2011 he was appointed General Manager Strategy, a position he held until his appointment in April 2015 as Executive Director, Strategy, Total Nigeria Plc. He is a well-known industry expert with more than 25 years downstream experience.
