The company serves 2.8 million phone customers and 1.8 million broadband customers; 346,002 small and medium enterprise broadband customers and 59 hotels. Telekom Malaysia Berhad and BDB Land Sdn Bhd Inks a Service Agreement for the Deployment and Provision of TM's High Speed Broadband Services

Telekom Malaysia Berhad and BDB Land Sdn Bhd inked a Service Agreement for the deployment and provision of TM's high speed broadband (HSBB) services to the new phases of BDB Land residential developments. Under this collaboration, TM will be providing HSBB services to the latest phases of Darulaman Perdana, Bandar Darulaman and Darulaman Utama development projects which comprise 736 residential units by BDB Land, a Kedah State GLC property development company under BDB Groups.

Telekom Malaysia Berhad and TT dotCom Sdn Bhd Agrees to Extend the Memorandum of Understanding

TIME announced that Telekom Malaysia Berhad and the company's subsidiary, TT dot Com Sdn Bhd has agreed to extend the memorandum of understanding period to 2 August 2015, or such other date as may be mutually agreed in writing by the parties, for the finalization and execution of the construction and maintenance agreement. All provisions contained in the MOU shall remain unchanged.

Telekom Malaysia Berhad Reports Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2015

Telekom Malaysia Berhad reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company's net profit slip 38.7% to MYR 128.9 million, from MYR 210.6 million in the comparable quarter a year ago, due to lower operating profits and foreign exchange losses. However, its revenue grew 5.9% to MYR 2.77 billion from MYR 2.6 billion, mainly driven by higher contribution from Internet and other services revenue. Group operating profit (earnings before interest and tax (EBIT)) for was MYR 243.4 million. Group normalised EBIT stood at MYR 244.0 million on the back of higher operating cost. Group reported profit before tax (PBT) stood at MYR 172.1 million, compared to MYR 279.6 million in the corresponding period last year attributed to lower operating profits. Group normalised profit after tax and minority interest was lower by 7.6% at MYR 171.3 million due to higher operating cost and consolidation of Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
