AT&T Inc. provides telecommunications services to consumers and businesses in the United States and internationally. Its Wireless segment offers various wireless voice, data, text, and other services, including local wireless communications services, long-distance services, and roaming services. This segment also sells various handsets, wirelessly enabled computers, and personal computer wireless data cards through its owned stores, agents, or third-party retail stores; and accessories comprising carrying cases, hands-free devices, batteries, battery chargers, and other items to consumers, as well as to agents and third-party distributors. As of December 31, 2013, this segment served approximately 110 million wireless subscribers. The company’s Wireline segment provides data services, such as switched and dedicated transport, DSL Internet access, network integration, managed Web-hosting, packet, and enterprise networking services, as well as local, interstate, and international wholesale networking capacity to other service providers. This segment also offers voice services consisting of local and long-distance services; wholesale switched access services to other service providers; and outsourcing services, integration services and customer premises equipment, and government-related services. This segment served approximately 12 million retail consumer access lines, 10 million retail business access lines, and 2 million wholesale access lines. The company has strategic relationship with IBM to provide businesses with a source for network security and threat management. The company was formerly known as SBC Communications Inc. and changed its name to AT&T Inc. in November 2005. AT&T, Inc. was founded in 1983 and is based in Dallas, Texas.

Franke Group Collaborates with AT&T for Global Network Services

The Franke Group is achieving competitive advantage through its collaboration with AT&T. The two companies have refreshed their 11-year relationship. The new four-year agreement for virtual private network (VPN) services connects 8,900 employees in 72 subsidiaries on four continents. Teams around the world can collaborate on large projects using the latest web technologies to enhance productivity, due to the speed of AT&T's global network.

AT&T, Inc. Enters into a Credit Agreement and Term Loan Facility

On January 21, 2015, AT&T Inc. entered into a $9.155 billion credit agreement (the Syndicated Credit Agreement) containing a $6.286 billion term loan facility and a $2.869 billion term loan facility (the Tranche B Facility), with certain investment and commercial banks and Mizuho Bank Ltd., as administrative agent. The company also entered into a $2.0 billion 18-month credit agreement with Mizuho as initial lender and agent. In the event advances are made under either agreement, those advances would be used for general corporate purposes, including acquisition related payments. Amounts borrowed under the Tranche A Facility will be due and payable on the third anniversary of funding. Amounts borrowed under the Tranche B Facility will be subject to amortization from the third anniversary of funding, with 25% of the aggregate principal amount thereof being payable prior to the fifth anniversary thereof, and all remaining principal amount due and payable on such fifth anniversary. Amounts borrowed under the 18-Month Credit Agreement will be due and payable on the date that is 18 months after the funding.

AT&T Launches U-Verse Arrives in Panama City

AT&T launched U-verse High Speed Internet, AT&T U-verse TV and AT&T U-verse Voice in the area. AT&T U-verse offers customers the freedom to watch hit TV shows virtually anywhere – using a TV, computer, tablet or smartphone – and access to extensive HD channels, competitive Internet speeds, flexible bundles of services and continued innovation. At no additional costs, U-verse customers can access the U-verse App for smartphones and tablets or log on to to manage their DVR, watch On Demand programming and stream from more than 200 live TV channels in the home and more than 100 live TV channels while on the go. IP-based TV service has many advantages over older, cable-based technologies. It has the ability to integrate services and adapt to consumer demands. AT&T U-verse offers a fully-integrated Wireless Receiver. Customers can watch TV in almost any room in the home, even where there's no TV outlet. Where AT&T U-verse services are available, subscribers are more satisfied overall when compared to cable's video and Internet subscribers. U-verse TV customers can enjoy many features and applications. They include the ability to watch hit TV shows on qualifying mobile devices and online; manage DVR recordings remotely; the ability to choose and watch four of favorite channels at once with My Multiview; an extensive HD channel and On Demand lineup; and the ability to watch on TV screen. AT&T U-verse High-Speed Internet offers many speed options and includes a wireless networking capability for all Internet customers. When customers sign up for U-verse High-Speed Internet, they have access to thousands of AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots at no extra charge. AT&T U-verse Voice is an advanced digital phone service delivered over AT&T's IP network. Customers enjoy great sound quality and clarity, and unmatched calling features that work with U-verse TV. U-verse customers can bundle their choice of U-verse Voice and/or AT&T wireless services with U-verse Internet and TV packages for significant savings.
