Suzlon Energy Limited manufactures and sells wind turbine generators (WTGs) and related components in Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, and North and South America. It offers rotor blade concept and direct drive systems; general, stator, rotor, and control system annular generators; grid connection and SCADA systems, and control and flexi systems; and tubular steel and precast concrete towers, as well as constructs towers and foundations. The company’s product range includes WTGs with capacities from 600 kilo watts to 6.15 megawatts. It is also involved in the sale/sub-lease of land; sale of foundry and forging components; and generation of electricity by WTG. In addition, the company offers project services, such as land sourcing and permitting, wind resource assessment, and installation and commissioning, as well as developing power infrastructure, including laying down cables and establishing substations. Further, it offers operations and maintenance services, as well as monitoring services for erected wind turbine. The company was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Pune, India.

Suzlon Energy Limited Announces Audited Consolidated and Standalone Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year Ended March 31, 2015

Suzlon Energy Limited announced audited consolidated and standalone earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, on the consolidated basis, income from operation was INR 49,088.3 million against INR 65,809.6 million a year ago. Loss from operation before other income, finance cost and exceptional items was INR 3,523.0 million against profit from operation before other income, finance cost and exceptional items of INR 1,156.9 million a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 11,064.8 million against INR 4.565.9 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 12,148.9 million or INR 3.55 per basic and diluted share against INR 6,419.4 million or INR 2.45 per basic and diluted share a year ago. For the year, on the consolidated basis, income from operation was INR 198,366.8 million against INR 202,115.8 million a year ago. Loss from operation before other income, finance cost and exceptional items was INR 4,930.3 million against INR 9,179.7 million a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 88,160.8 million against INR 34,037.5 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 91,333.6 million or INR 30.49 per basic and diluted share against INR 35,481.8 million or INR 15.71 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Suzlon Energy Limited to Supply 98MW to Mytrah Energy

Suzlon Energy Limited and Mytrah Energy announced that Suzlon will supply 98MW project to Mytrah at Nazeerabad in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana state. It is scheduled for commissioning in 2016. Suzlon’s role in the project involves installing and commissioning 47 WTGs of its revolutionary S97 120m Hybrid Tower WTGs with rated capacity of 2.1MW each. The order is part of the Business Partnership Agreement signed with Mytrah in May 2010 to purchase 1 GW of turbines from Suzlon Group. The project is the 3rd repeat order awarded by Mytrah to Suzlon Energy.

Suzlon Group Win New Order for 90 MW Turnkey Project from Renew Power

Suzlon Group announced that it has won new order for 90 MW turnkey project from ReNew Power. Suzlon will install its revolutionary 597 120m Hybrid Tower WTGs (wind turbine generator) with rated capacity of 2.1MW in Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh (MP). Suzlon will install 29 WTGs at the site Kode and 14 WTGs at Limbwas site in Ratlam district. The project is scheduled for commissioning by March 2016. The new order of 90 MW from ReNew Power being a repeat order reaffirms industry's faith in Suzlon's product portfolio and service capabilities. Suzlon has commissioned 98.70 MW for ReNew Power so far and 100.80 MW is currently under execution in Rajasthan. Suzlon will leverage its end-to-end wind solutions expertise to oversee the project operations. The S97 120m is World's tallest Hybrid Tower designed to harness the wind energy across low wind sites.
