SAS AB announced that the Swedish Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation for the Swedish Government has decided to make an internal change which means that current member Niklas Johansson has been replaced by Magnus Skaninger for the SAS' nomination committee. SAS reported earnings results for the second quarter, six months and twelve months ended April 30, 2015. For the second quarter, the company reported revenue of SEK 9,403 million compared to SEK 8,472 million a year ago. Operating income was SEK 458 million compared to operating loss of SEK 661 million a year ago. Income before tax was SEK 355 million compared to loss before tax of SEK 1,078 million a year ago. Net income for the period was SEK 279 million compared to net loss for the period of SEK 800 million a year ago. Net income for the period attributable to parent company shareholders was SEK 278 million compared to net loss attributable to parent company shareholders of SEK 806 million a year ago. Earnings per common share after dilution was SEK 0.51 compared to diluted loss per share of SEK 2.72 a year ago. Cash flow from operating activities was SEK 1,535 million compared to SEK 935 million a year ago. Investments including advance payments to aircraft manufacturers were SEK 727 million compared to SEK 259 million a year ago. Swissport Reportedly Withdraws From Agreement With SAS For Ground Handling Operations

Swissport International Ltd. has withdrawn from the agreement to acquire Ground Handling operations of SAS AB (OM:SAS), Esmerk reported citing Dagens Næringsliv. The agreement was signed in 2013. Initially, Swissport was supposed to acquire a 50%, but did not take over more than 10% in the autumn of 2013. SAS has not yet commented on the news.
