SPAR Chooses Store Electronic Systems to Equip All of its Stores in Norway

Store Electronic Systems has entered into an exclusive agreement with the SPAR group to install its solution across almost 200 stores in Norway by the end of 2015. Following an initial, large-scale rollout in Scandinavia in 2013, NorgesGruppen has again selected SES and Wincor-Nixdorf to equip all sales outlets operating under the SPAR trademark in Norway. Under the contract, SES will supply almost one million G-tag+ graphic labels. This latest generation of dynamic, interactive labels (DTP TFT display, patented worldwide by SES) enables the synchronization and implementation of the brand's sales and promotional policy across all stores.

Monoprix Chooses Store Electronic Systems and Wincor-Nixdorf to Equip its Stores with ESL over the Next 3 Years

Store Electronic Systems and its partner Wincor-Nixdorf announced the signing of a new contract with the Monoprix group to equip its stores with ESL over the next 3 years. This agreement notably relates to equipping 100 to 150 new Monoprix stores which it is planning to open over the coming 3 years. Also covered by the agreement are a significant share of the group's 250 outlets already equipped with the SES solution and whose stocks of labels must be renewed.

Store Electronic Systems announced audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2014. For the year, the company reported sales of EUR 81.2 million against EUR 82.3 million a year ago. Core operating profit was EUR 6.5 million against EUR 6.2 million a year ago. Core EBITDA was EUR 11.1 million against EUR 9.4 million a year ago. Operating profit was EUR 4.2 million against EUR 6.2 million a year ago. Net profit was EUR 3.2 million against EUR 3.9 million a year ago. The group continued its investments, which totaled 8.6 million in 2014, including 0.8 million for Imagotag (R&D Epaper and HF) and EUR 7.8 million for the SES scope, essentially devoted to R&D (EUR 5.6 million), to the modernization of its ERP & Digital SES IT system and to equipment for the new logistics warehouse and new head offices (EUR 0.7 million). Once these non-recurrent expenses are taken onboard, operating profit (EBIT) was EUR 4.2 million, or 5% of sales.
