In addition, the company provides asset management and advisory services; private banking services to high net-worth private individuals and institutions; and a range of insurance and financial security solutions, including pension, life, health care, and disability insurance products and services. It serves corporations and institutions, private customers, small and medium-sized corporates, financial institutions, investors, real-estate companies, housing companies, and private real-estate owners. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB announced June 11, 2015 that Ieva Tetere was appointed country manager and president of SEB in Latvia, effective July 3, 2015. Tetere currently serves as deputy head of SEB in Latvia. Ainars Ozols, who has served as country manager and president of SEB in Latvia since 2007, was appointed head of human resources in the Baltic division. Allan Parik, who currently serves as head of corporates and institutions within the Baltic region, was named country manager and president of SEB in Estonia, effective August 1, 2015. SEB Reports Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 2015

SEB reported earnings results for the first quarter of 2015. For the quarter, the company reported operating income in the first quarter amounted to SEK 11.6 billion, an increase of 11% compared to the same quarter 2014. Operating profit in the quarter amounted to SEK 5.8 billion, which was up 19% compared to the first quarter 2014. Return on equity for the quarter amounted to 13.8% and the Common Equity Tier 1 capital ratio increased to 16.6%. Net interest income was SEK 4,946 million against SEK 4,818 million a year ago. Net profit attributable to shareholders was SEK 4,651 million against SEK 3,884 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were SEK 2.11 against SEK 1.76 a year ago. Return on total assets was 0.64% against 0.60% a year ago. Cash flow from operating activities was SEK 107,124 million against SEK 50,788 million a year ago.
